'Till We Meet Again..

I went for a quick trip to Quiapo recently. I only had few things in my list but still was not able to tick them all. 1 of the things I was not able to buy from my trip was the casing for mi esposo’s phone. He was hoping I could buy him a clip type phone casing he’d been wanting ever since he bought his phone, but was not able to buy him. I was surprised that the vendors in Quiapo Arcade do not have a recall of his unit which is a Sony Xperia S. Since I could only stay there for a limited time, I cannot ask each and every stall, so I left the place empty handed. If only I could buy phone covers from Wireless Emporium, I’m sure it would be a no sweat feat for me.

Though I was not able to tick all that was in my list, I’m glad I was able to grab some good finds. Like the iron board cover and the summer sando for Dos. As usual, stalls from the Quiapo Arcade and Hidalgo Street have a wide array of items; you’ll grab a thing or 2 that you never thought of buying but you actually need. I promised myself I’ll be back there and next time with a vengeance.

Or, better be an iPhone user again. I'm sure the vendors there knows it like the back of  their hand.

  1. Back with a vengeance means buying more stuff right? hehe. Good thing no pick pocket around that time.

    1. It's a good place for thrift stuffs and of course for devotion to the Black Nazarene. Just be alert and guard yourself against the pickpockets.

  6. When I was working in Metro Manila, Quiapo is one place I frequently visit. I almost memorize all the streets there (pero nakalimutan ko na ngayon). It's a place where you can find everything like in Divisoria. My favorite hang-out is the Wellmanson because I love crafts. Then the Fans Studio ,I had my first wedding storybook layout (which is my own wedding) printed there. Also the Henry's for the camera supplies, etc. etc. Everytime I visit Manila, I find time to visit Quiapo and also Divi. :)

    1. When I was a student I considered myself a "Batang Quiapo", I also memorized the streets there, pero hindi na din ngayon. It's also served as my Divisoria since it's proximate to my office. My officemates and I particularly spend most of our time at Wellmanson too. We tried to make beads works before. =)

  7. I really want to go to Quiapo again specifically in Wellmanson. I heard there are so many craft materials there. I want to make bead accessories again and hopefully before the year ends I can go there. Daddy Allan also is eyeing the camera accessories there.
